Here is an experience of a lifetime. Last September 05, my wife and I had the opportunity to go visit our daughter and son in-law whom are posted at York bks Munster Germany. He is in the REME as a tank technician servicing the challenger 2 tank. (he only works when they break down and that’s not often) woo the good life eh ? Anyway, the day that we were due to drive back to good old Blighty my daughter took me to the camp to say bye to son-inlaw Andy. I was taking pics of the tanks ,as you do, the Sgt there ordered a startup of one, my god, noise and smoke everywhere great stuff, to my surprise, he then said to me, John would you like to go in it? YUP I said with no hesitation. Okay now this is the bit where I realized we are now has-beens , they are all in their 20s me in me 40s they hopped up into the tank no probs, me? I had to get a helping hand, I been out now 21 years and time creeps up fast (old git). Well, I had a great time thanks to my kin and to t
